EBENEZER OPERATION EXODUS IS AN INTERCESSORY MINISTRY CALLED TO A PROPHETIC TASK

Ebenezer is a work of intercession, so it has a worldwide prayer family with an ongoing need for new members. Without the commitment to intercessory prayer, Ebenezer would be unable to work. Every step taken has been done through prayer; every door that has opened in the former Soviet Union to advance the work has been an answer to prayer. The Lord has provided the finance, workers and equipment, and pulled down barriers of various kinds, as a result of faithful prayer.

The Bible clearly teaches that aliyah is God’s initiative. HE is the One who is bringing His Jewish people home as it is written in Isaiah 43:5-6

‘Fear not, for I am with you; I will bring your descendants from the east, and gather you from the west; I will say to the north, ‘Give them up!’ And to the south, ‘Do not keep them back!’ Bring My sons from afar and My daughters from the ends of the earth.’

The Lord’s call to Ebenezer Operation Exodus is to stand in the gap in these increasingly urgent days, to cooperate with Him as His prophetic Word unfolds for the ingathering of the Jewish people from all over the earth.

We see from Jeremiah 1:11–13 that the Lord Himself is watching over His word to perform it.

‘Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying, “Jeremiah, what do you see?” And I said, “I see a branch of an almond tree.” Then the LORD said to me, “You have seen well, for I am ready [watching] to perform My word.” And the word of the LORD came to me a second time, saying, “What do you see?” And I said, “I see a boiling pot, and it is facing away from the north.”

As well as seeing the almond blossom (which indicates alertness and activity, blossoming in late winter) Jeremiah also saw the boiling pot portraying the battle that was to break forth! We have learned the importance of basing our prayers on God’s Word as we take up our positions as ‘watchmen’ for His word to be fulfilled.
